School bus transportation is available to all students living two or more miles from school, and service is provided at no cost to students. Bus routes and stops will be designated annually, and subject to change based on operational needs. Please be advised that we do have a small number of buses in our fleet that do not have A/C. Students are allowed and encouraged to bring a water bottle, and windows are to be down during the ride to help with circulation. We are in the process of looking into options to upgrade the fleet to add more buses with A/C in the future.
For the safety of the driver and all passengers, students must board buses or other vehicles only at their designated stops, and drivers must unload passengers only at their designated stops.
The district has identified the following areas where hazardous conditions exist for students who live within two miles of the campus: State Hwy. 123. Students in these areas might encounter hazardous conditions when traveling to and from school independently, the district will provide transportation to these students. Please contact The Transportation Director for additional information.
Navarro ISD utilizes the Transact Routing system which has two components; the Parent Portal and the BusQuest App. Families must first create a Parent Portal account before accessing the BusQuest App. Please click on the user guide below for more details.
Please note that your child(ren) must already be registered to attend school at Navarro ISD before you will be able to complete your account setup. Once registered at the campus it will take 24 hours before the information updates with the transportation department.

The safety record of buses and drivers is outstanding in the Navarro School District. The school bus drivers undergo an extensive training program prior to getting behind the wheel of a school bus and refresher training every year. This training helps to ensure that riding a school bus is the safest way to get to school.
