Navarro Independent School District (Navarro ISD) is inviting the community to participate in the decision-making process for the academic calendars of the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The Navarro ISD District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC), comprised of faculty, staff, parents, and community members, has been diligently working to develop calendars that align with the needs of the Navarro ISD community.

Traditionally, the DEIC has proposed calendar options for the upcoming school year. However, recognizing the importance of long-range planning, this year presents options for both the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.

"As we strive to proactively support future growth and programs across the district, having multiple years of academic calendars established is essential," stated Wendy McMullen, Chief Academic Officer of Navarro ISD.

Navarro ISD values the input of our faculty, staff, parents, and community members in shaping the academic calendars that best serve our students, faculty, and families. Navarro ISD Community members are encouraged to review the proposed calendar options for both years and provide feedback by casting their votes at Proposed 24-25 & 25-26 Academic Calendar Options. The voting period will be open from February 7, 2024, through February 12, 2024.

The calendar options, along with community input and feedback, will be presented to the Navarro ISD School Board at the February 26, 2024, School Board meeting. The Board will utilize this valuable input as they discuss and adopt future academic calendars for Navarro ISD.
