2022-2023 Navarro ISD Accountability Rating: No Rating Assigned

The issuance of A-F ratings under this final rule is pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings or decisions from the 88th Legislature during a special called session.

  • Navarro TAPR and Federal Report Card Public Hearing Presentation.

    All of the 2022-2023 TAPR reports can be found under the academic services page, then under academic postings. 

    Two major changes are highlighted below.

    • School Progress Domain, Part A: The Score Cut Points table and the Closing the Gaps Domain Score Cut Points table have been changed to align with the update to set School Progress Domain cut points using a baseline of student growth from the 2018–19 school year.  
    • Closing the Gaps Performance Targets tables for both Growth: RLA and Growth: Math components: The targets (2023 Target, Next Interim Target, Long Term Target for each student group, for all campus types) have been updated to align with the update to set baselines using student growth from the 2018–19 school year. 

  • Navarro ISD Accountability Summary for the 2021-2022 Academic Year: Print out summaries are available online.

    • Navarro ISD - Recognized Performance - Overall Grade B
    • Navarro High School - Recognized Performance - Overall Grade B
    • Navarro Junior High School - Recognized Performance - Overall Grade B
    • Navarro Intermediate School - Acceptable Performance - Overall Grade C
    • Navarro Elementary School - Acceptable Performance - Overall Grade C

  • NAVARRO ISD ACCOUNTABILITY 2020-2021 ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR

    All Districts and Schools were NOT RATED in 2020 due to COVID-19.

    Given the impact of COVID-19, all districts and schools received a label of Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster for their 2020 accountability ratings. State of Texas School Report Card

A copy of the State of Texas School Report Card for all four campuses is available. This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The report provides information concerning student performance as well as information concerning expenditures, average class size, and student/teacher ratios.

TEA has developed the website TXschools.org to view online report cards designed to be useful tools in seeing how a school or school district is doing in different areas. Parents can search by district or school name. This webpage is dynamic and can be translated if needed. TEA also has webpages for Definitions and Explanations of Performance Ratings and Reports.

The report for our district and each school may or may not have all the information described, because the information presented depends on whether the school is an elementary, middle, or high school.

State law requires that the information be provided for the state, the district, and the school. Where possible, the information must be reported by race/ethnicity and socio-economic status of the students and must include at least two years of results.

Federal Report Cards

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, district- and campus-level data. 

Every district that receives Title I, Part A funding is responsible for distributing the state-, district- and campus-level report cards to each of its campuses, the parents of all enrolled students, and the general public.

Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)

The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
