Faculty, Staff, and Navarro Families,

Hunter Industries LTD, a TxDOT contractor, has started a paving project on SH 123 heading north, starting just north of the school campuses. While the roadwork in front of our district is complete with the exception of lane line painting, the contractor will continue to work daily (M-F) between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on the north section of the road. We are being told the work is expected to be completed October 2023.

We understand this is an inconvenience to staff & families, so we wanted to inform everyone as soon as we were informed by TxDOT so everyone has the information to plan accordingly. We will be mindful on our side that this may impact arrivals and we will assess the situation the first few weeks of school as we see the full impact this project has on our district.
