Wed, Sept 13, 2023 was a  long-anticipated day and a milestone that marks our district's legacy of success and increasing growth for the future. We celebrated the work we do together as a community to grow our students, our district, and our community as we officially broke ground for the new Navarro High School on land that has for generations been the agricultural foundation of this area. We will have the opportunity to see it transform to be the foundation of learning for so many Navarro ISD students. This groundbreaking was made possible through the service and vision of NISD staff, parents, community members, and the Board of Trustees who recognize the growth and needs of the families they serve. It would also not have been possible without the generous land donation from the Bartoskewitz Farm Foundation and the support of the Puls family in the site purchase and development which speaks to the heart of the origin of this project and echoes the spirit and values of our district and community.

This building will not only stand as a tribute to our rich history but also a source of pride and promise for our future.
