Dear Navarro ISD Families and Staff,

Navarro ISD will be operating on a normal schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Though temperatures will remain very cold, the wind gusts like we saw today are not expected to be present tomorrow morning. Precipitation is also not anticipated, so dangerous road conditions are not expected to impact our district. Temperatures will be very cold in the early morning hours, so please be prepared to bundle up and dress warmly. 

We will continue to monitor the weather to adjust schedules and move outdoor activities inside when appropriate to ensure student and staff safety.

Parents, guardians, and staff will be notified if there are any further changes to NISD’s plans. If needed, those notifications will be made via Navarro ISD and the Navarro ISD Facebook page. If changes need to be made to bus routes, parents will be notified by email through the TransAct parent portal account as soon as we are aware of any changes. Thank you for your continued support
