Our mission of the Navarro Independent School District Child Nutrition Department is to provide nutritious and appealing meals for the students of NISD for them to grow as successful students in a safe and positive learning environment.

  • Your child may be eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals.  Families are encouraged to submit a meal application that schools will use to determine a child’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meals.  All families are encouraged to submit an application anytime during the school year.  A new application MUST be submitted each school year.

    2024-2025 Lunch Prices:

    Elementary: Paid-$3.20, Reduced-$.40, and Free-$0.00

    Intermediate: Paid-$3.20, Reduced-$.40, and Free-$0.00

    Junior High: Paid-$3.35, Reduced-$.40, and Free-$0.00

    High School: Paid-$3.60, Reduced-$.40, and Free-$0.00

  • You must submit a request to the District every school year if your child requires a special diet.  Your physician's office must complete the form.  Turn the form in to your School Nurse.  Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing special diet requests.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
