2023 Summer Enrichment Camps

SUMMER ENRICHMENT CAMP DATES & TIMES:

  • WEEK 1 - JUNE 5-8 8:00 am - noon
  • WEEK 2 - JUNE 12-15 8:00 am - noon
  • WEEK 3 - JUNE 19-22 8:00am - noon
  • WEEK 4- JULY 10-13 8:00 am - noon
  • WEEK 5- JULY 17-20 8:00 am - noon
  • WEEK 6 - JULY 24-27 8:00 am - noon

COST - $100.00 per week

The following camps will be held at the Navarro Intermediate school:

  • Ages: Incoming 3rd grade - 6th grade

    Students will learn how to paint, draw, sculpt, and more as they become immersed in fun projects, producing masterpieces that affirm creative processes and build self-confidence. Art Camp will be offered:

    • WEEK 1 - JUNE 5-8 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 2 - JUNE 12-15 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 3 - JUNE 19-22 8:00 am - noon
    • New Classes Added Week 5 - JUNE 17-20 8:00 am - noon
    • New Classes Added Week 6 - JUNE 24-27 8:00 am-noon


    Flyer for Art Summer Camp

  • Ages: Incoming 3rd grade - 5th grade

    This technology experience is focused on 3D Print and Design. Students will learn how 3D printers are changing the world and study the design and engineering processes used by professionals to create 3D models. 3D Printing Camp will be offered:

    • WEEK 1 - JUNE 5-8 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 2 - JUNE 12-15 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 3 - JUNE 19-22 8:00 am - noon

  • Come explore the fun of learning through interactive and engaging themed weeks! The Early Literacy Camp will focus on basic reading and writing skills for young learners. Each themed week will have books, games, activities, and crafts that make learning to read and write fun!  Early Literacy Camp will be offered:

    • WEEK 1 - JUNE 5-8 8:00 am - noon (Ninja Theme Week)
    • WEEK 2 - JUNE 12-15 8:00 am - noon (Sports Theme Week)
    • WEEK 3 - JUNE 19-22 8:00 am - noon (Dinosaur Theme Week)

  • Baking with Books Flyer

    Ages 1st grade - 6th grade

    Join us at Navarro ISD for Baking with Books. Students will explore new and old favorite books paired with a cooking activity. While reading students will identify the author's purpose, find figurative language used to keep the reader's attention, and practice math and science skills! This camp will leave them hungry for more reading while they challenge themselves to try new snacks! Baking with books will be available:

    • WEEK 1 - JUNE 5-8 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 2 - JUNE 12-15 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 3 - JUNE 19-22 8:00am - noon
    • WEEK 4- JULY 10-13 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 5- JULY 17-20 8:00 am - noon
    • WEEK 6 - JULY 24-27 8:00 am - noon

  • Open to students that just completed 2nd -3rd Grade

    Students will engage and enjoy learning basic vocabulary, songs and books along with Spanish foods and art.  This camp will include hands-on activities such as learning how to make salsa, creating a pinata and songs and dance.

    • June 19-22
