The Texas Education Agency (TEA) offers various Programs of Study (POS) sequences in different fields, each with its own set of advantages. Following a program of study sequence of courses can provide students with a structured and comprehensive pathway to success., ending in a capstone course that offers an industry certification or work-based learning experiences. Endorsements are earned by students after completing 3 courses for 4 or more credits within a Program of Study. A Performance Acknowledgement Award is given for each state-approved Industry-Based Certification earned by students who complete a Program of Study.
